Even toy drones follow physics….of course

‘Sergio, my drone hops when it accelerates horizontally!’

Don’t panic. Without advanced flight control logic, it’s seen in whole history of any chopper-type flying vehicles.

Power requirement for hovering REDUCES as drone picks up horizontal speed mainly because momentum to balance body weight is supported partially by cruising speed.

Although this is old-school knowledge, it’s really scale-able one across all type of drones. It’s seen in what we collected from typical ‘faulty’ flight mode in the past.

Whilst modern drones adjust rpm to compensate this ‘hop’, it’s could be dealt with by pilot operation to some extent.

Have you seen this issue on your drone??

Don’t be shy to share your video footage:) It’s learning opportunity!
